Protection Coordination Study
A coordination study ensures protective devices operate selectively, isolating faults with minimal system impact.
Time-current characteristic curves are plotted for every protective device and compared against equipment damage curves. Where two devices overlap, a fault on a single branch trips a main and takes out a plant. Where a device sits above a damage curve, the equipment fails before its protection operates. The study finds both, and the deliverable is a set of settings, not a description of the problem.
Scope
- TCC curve development
- Relay setting development
- Fuse and breaker coordination
- Identification of miscoordination
- Optimization for reliability and safety
The other studies
Load Flow Study
Provides a detailed assessment of system voltage profiles, power flows, and equipment loading, to ensure stable and reliable operation under all expected conditions.
Read the scope →Short Circuit Study
Identifies available fault currents throughout your system, ensuring all equipment is properly rated and protected under worst-case conditions.
Read the scope →Arc Flash Study
Identifies hazards, establishes clear PPE requirements, and provides compliant labeling to help you maintain a safer, more reliable workplace.

Tell us the facility, the voltage class, and what is forcing the timeline — an audit finding, an incident, an insurer, or a startup date. We will come back with scope and price, not a discovery call.
